Founded in 2010 as the organizing entity for a nonprofit healthcare cooperative, Income for Outcomes has successfully secured over $70m in working capital on behalf of mission-oriented enterprises and assisted over 100 area nonprofits and social enterprises in developing new models for meeting the needs of their constituents while increasing the sustainability of their organizations.

Founder & Principal

Dr. J. Howard “Jim” Kucher is an internationally recognized thought leader in Social Entrepreneurship with a focus on Faith-Based initiatives. Combining degrees in English, Business, Public Affairs, and Theology; Jim brings a wealth of perspectives and expertise to his work. Centered on practical solutions, he has assisted over 100 area nonprofits, social enterprises, and faith communities in developing new models for meeting their constituents' needs while increasing their organizations' sustainability.

A frequent speaker, He is the author of Social Entrepreneurship, A Practice-Based Approach to Social Innovation, and the Editor of the forthcoming Cases on Social Enterprise in the United States. Kucher teaches Social Enterprise and Social Entrepreneurship at several regional and national colleges and universities and is particularly proud to serve as a lecturer in Social Entrepreneurship at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities.

Jim’s current work is focused on the development of underutilized congregational assets that can supplement offering income while supporting and expanding missional outreach.
